The embroidery technique for hats may seem simple, but its high degree of customization can show thousands of different effects. Today, the editor will give you a brief introduction to special embroidery besides common embroidery.
Wool thread: Wool thread is much thicker than ordinary embroidery thread and is a type of embroidery thread that is different from other threads. It is generally used for towel embroidery and is less commonly used for hats. When combined with washed denim fabric, it has a very good effect on making hats.
Metal wire: Its main feature is that the outer layer of the wire is covered with a metal film, and the inner layer is actually composed of artificial silk or polyester silk. The surface glossiness is very high, so the visual effect is very good. However, because metal wire is used in embroidery, friction is easily generated between the embroidery thread and the fabric, generating heat and causing wire breakage.
Polyester thread: This is the most commonly used embroidery thread, which is commonly used for 3D and flat embroidery of hats. The characteristics of this embroidery thread are good machine embroidery effect, clear embroidery, high elasticity, and no fading after washing.
